Designed for a site near Santa Fe, New Mexico this 3000 square foot house is a dynamic reinterpretation of the southwest adobe. Visually springing from its steep site, the house is organized around the 80 foot long arc'd spine containing the private functions with living, study and garage spaces attached to the west side of the spine. The house was to be completed in the color of the landscape; yellow ochre, sage green and purple, each color denoting a specific interior function.
