At approximately 9,000 feet, Grand Lake is the largest natural lake at this elevation in the lower 48 states.  The brief was to develop a small, self contained family oriented condominium resort development centered around "lake life."

The design solution places the buildings lengthwise across the slope while using the site's vertical dimensions to accommodate all the support requirements by stacking functions above and below grade thereby maximizing the site.  The spaces between the buildings, especially parallel to the lake, are predominately pedestrian places with terraces and lawns with sitting and eating areas accommodating outdoor cooking.

Twenty condominiums were designed into 4 buildings on the highest part of the site. Alternately 4 and 6 units to a building configured into 2 story, 3 bedroom units and one 2 story bedroom flats.
